Starting with SAC QRC2 2025, the standard roles Modeler, Planner, Reporter, and Viewer include permissions for Calendar Template.
To reuse your SAP Analytics Cloud calendar processes, you can save them as calendar templates in the file repository and share them with other planning process modelers. You can use the templates to create new processes with the predefined structure, or you can use templates to define the generated event types.
Administrators can control the permissions in each of the standard roles for Calendar Template.
Templates are saved in the file repository. There, they can be shared, moved, deleted, or copied, and the owner can be changed. You can also filter your folder for calendar templates based on the new Standard Role permissions provided. You can select the required access rights (View, Edit, Full Control, or Custom) when sharing a template directly or by sharing its folder. Users with shared templates need the appropriate permissions for calendar templates in their Standard Role settings.
