Introduction
In SAP Analytics Cloud, you can add dynamic text to a table title. You can change the title of a table to include dynamic text from a variety of elements including story filters and filters that are in use in the table.
Procedure:

In a table, select the title or part of the title. Right-click and then select Add Dynamic Text.

In the Insert Dynamic Text popup, select the check box for the object you want to use as the source for your dynamic text. You can scroll through all the options or select an option from the left side to display specific objects on the right.

Story Properties
- Current User
- Current Time
- Current Date
- Last Modified Date
- Last Modified Date/Time
- Last Modifier (last person to modify the story)
- Creator
- Page Number
Note
The current user in dynamic text is displayed in display name, while last modifier and creator are displayed in user ID.
Dimensions
For dimensions, you can specify which hierarchy and level to display, and whether to display the ID or description.

Story Filters
Tile Filters & Variables: includes filters and variables used in charts and tables, and (Optimized Story Experience) geo map filters.
Note
Tile filters and variables will not appear on mobile devices.

Last Refreshed Date and Time: You can add last refreshed date and time of any SAP BW live data model used in your story.
Chart Properties
You can add various chart properties to the title or subtitle:

- Scales
- Units
Team Signature
Use the team signature to identify who is authorized to modify the story.
Note
When the story is modified by someone who isn’t a member of the team, a warning message is displayed instead of the team name through a dynamic text that puts a mark in the story as a trust factor.
Only variables of string, number, or integer types can be used.
Variables set as arrays aren’t supported.
In view time, the global variables will change according to the customized scripts, and their values will be automatically updated in the text widget.
Results
Dynamic text is added to the title.
