Introduction
In SAP Analytics Cloud, you can reorder how measures or versions are displayed in a chart, including displaying them as overlapping bars.
Note
- To reorder measures or versions, you should have a bar chart that has at least two measures or at least two versions.
- You can have versions if you are using a planning model.
Reordering Measures in a Chart:

Select a chart and open the Builder panel.

In the Color section, select Add Dimension/Measure and add theVersion dimension. By default, the Actual version is added.
The bars in the chart will change order and the legend values are also rearranged to reflect the new order. You can also change the colors and patterns of the bars in your chart in the Color section of the Builder panel.
Adding and Reordering Versions in a Chart:

Select a chart and open the Builder panel.

In the Color section, select Add Dimension/Measure and add theVersion dimension. By default, the Actual version is added.

To add more versions to the Colorsection, select Add Version. A dropdown will appear and you can choose more versions.

Set the Pattern and Color for each of the selected versions. To change the version order, select one of the versions and drag it up or down.
The bars in the chart will change order and the legend values will also be rearranged to reflect the new order.
Customize How Measures or Versions are Displayed:
You can display measures or versions as overlapping bars and can also change which measure or version is displayed at the front in the Color section of the Builder panel. You can move a bar to the front by selecting Show As -> Layered Bars -> Front.
