Introduction
You can define threshold values in a Model and then apply conditional formatting to a story, or you can apply the formatting to all stories based on a model by defining thresholds in that model.
Procedure:
1
Open an SAP Analytics Cloud model and under Workspace go into the Model Structure section, open the Account dimension.
2
In the grid view, select a cell in the Threshold column (Scroll to the right if required).
3
Select an Account where you want to add a threshold and click on the icon that pops up. (Set Threshold) You can set one or more thresholds for the account. You can also change the colors and text used for the value ranges.
4
Select OK when you have finished defining thresholds.
The color formatting appears in stories based on your model.
Note
- Thresholds that you define for a model are applied to stories based on that model, but if you apply conditional formatting in the stories, that formatting overrides the thresholds you define for the model.
