Overview
This quarterly release cycle introduces an upgraded designer panel in the Microsoft Excel add-in. The new panel offers a smoother and more efficient experience.
These are the new capabilities that were added to the side panel of the add-in:
- Enable users to resize the panel
- Searching dimensions and measures
- Drag and drop dimensions
Let me guide you through the steps to use all these new capabilities.
The below image shows the regular view of the panel.
This is how it looks when you expand the panel:
A permanent list of dimensions and measures are available, and you can use the search bar to find any of the objects.
The filter dialog is also available on that permanent list:
Drag and drop that dimension if you want to add it to the table or use the three dots:
