Data Analyzer – Export to Microsoft Excel Update: Adding a Shortcut Link

Overview

The Microsoft Excel export functionality in the Data Analyzer now provides the ability to include a shortcut link. The link captures the story filter and navigation state of the story at the time it was exported.

Let me guide you through the following steps and show you how you can enable this option.

Steps

  1. Go to the toolbar of the Data Analyzer and select the export icon. Then select “Export to Excel”.
  1. Select the shortcut link.
  1. The shortcut link is available in the second tab of the file.
  1. When you click the link, the story will open in a new browser window.
