Ability to Edit Custom Role Descriptions

Overview

We have exciting news for SAP Analytics Cloud Administrators! As part of this 2025 quarterly release cycle, system administrators will be able to edit custom role descriptions.

This enhancement enables administrators to provide a more detailed role description or make necessary corrections.

If you are a system administrator, follow these steps to edit the custom role description:  

  1. Select a custom role
  2. Inside the custom role, select the pencil icon
  1. Apply the changes to the description field
  1. Now you will be able to see the new description in the Role page
