Feature Overview

The Job monitor was released in the recent SAC QRC1 update, making it easier for business users to improve their understanding of background job statuses. Have you had to toggle between monitors to check the status of different multi-actions after triggering them? If so, you know how challenging it can be to interpret end-to-end status across so many different monitors.

How To

The Job Monitor can be accessed by opening the side menu, navigating to system, then selecting Job Monitor.

The Job Monitor allows for complete transparency regarding multi-action execution by providing one location that oversees SAC background jobs. It includes details such as: where the job was triggered from, the total execution time, who triggered the job, and when the job was triggered.

The Job Monitor has four pages: Main Jobs, All Jobs, Data Actions, and Multi Actions.

  • Main Jobs displays an overview of first-level jobs of all types.
  • All Jobs displays an overview of all multi-actions and data actions.
  • Multi-actions and data actions each have their own pages as well.

Overall, the Job Monitor is a one-stop tool that allows users to have a comprehensive overview of all jobs without having to constantly toggle between different monitors. By consolidating these monitors in one place, users will have enhanced visibility to their job processes.
