New Custom Function Added for Microsoft Office SAC Add-In: MEMBERPROPERTY

Feature Overview

SAP has added the SAP.MEMBERPROPERTY formula, which returns the value of a specified property for specified dimension members.

Use Case

This function is useful when you want to identify what member IDs contain in a certain property value.

By identifying those member IDs, you can also nest the function inside of another Excel formula. For example, below, I have nested the SAP.PROPERTYMEMBER inside of an If/then statement to return a value for only those account types of income (INC).
