Introduction
Before you can start using Just Ask, you need SAC-acquired data models or models built in SAP Datasphere.
Selecting a Model

Start by clicking the Just Ask button located in the top menu of the SAP Analytics Cloud Home page.

Click the Model icon to expand the available data models, and tick the box next to the model on which you would like to base your question.
Note
You can add a new model to the search by clicking Add Model to Search. This will open the “Select Model” window, where you can pick the acquired model or SAP Datasphere model on which you would like to run your question. Per SAP, “In order to add models from SAP Datasphere to your search session, you will need to provide an SAP Datasphere account, login credentials, and choose the tenant of the target model.”

If you do not know how to start asking a question, you can use the +Add to Search button and select available dimensions to start building your query.

As you start adding a dimension to the search field, auto-complete options will start appearing to help you complete your query.

Alternatively, if you know what you want to ask, you can always enter your question (or query) into the search field and optionally use the auto-complete suggestions that are displayed.

Once you are satisfied with the question in the search field, you can click the Search icon or hit the Enter key on your keyboard.
Viewing Results
Your results will automatically be generated on the page for your analysis.
Additional options will be available in the upper-right corner of the graphic created:
- Toggle between chart or table view
- Analyze the data using the Data Analyzer
- Copy charts to paste into a story
