Creating a Private Dimension

Create private dimensions directly within a specific planning model.

Creating a Public Dimension

While building or editing a planning model, go to the Dimensions panel.

Click Add Dimension and choose Create New Dimension.

Name your dimension and add members directly in the model.

These dimensions are only available within this specific model. 

Note

  • If your dimension only applies to one model and doesn’t need reuse, private is a quicker setup.
