Creating a Public Dimension

1

Navigate to Main Menu > Modeler > Dimensions.

2

Click Create New and choose the dimension type (Generic, Organization, Account, etc.).

3

Add members (e.g., East, West, Central) and configure properties like ID, Description, Hierarchies, etc.

4

Save and name your dimension.

5

You can now reuse this dimension across multiple planning models.

Note

  • Use public dimensions for consistent structures like business units, currencies, or cost centers that appear across multiple models.
