Overview
Starting with SAC QRC2 2025, New model users can combine a primary data source with a secondary or third data source during the wrangling process of an acquired model. This option was available when building a Classic model.
There are two blending scenarios available.
- Primary data only: Displays only the dimension data from the first model.
- Intersecting data only: Displays only the dimension data that is common in both models.
- Please note that merging all data from both tables is currently not an available option.
Here are two types of blending examples:
How to Add Additional Data Sources
- Select Combine Data in the import settings.
- Choose a second data source.
- Choose linked columns from each data source.
- Choose Combine Method and select Combine Data in the lower right of the window.
- Normal wrangling can now be done.
