Scheduling Publication of Insights

Overview

SAP Analytics Cloud continues to enhance its data analysis capabilities with the latest QRC 1 2025 Update, introducing a powerful new feature for Data Analyzer users.

With the appropriate scheduling authorization, Users can now schedule the publication of insights as PDF, Microsoft Excel, or CSV files. This feature streamlines the reporting process by enabling automated distribution of key insights, reducing manual effort, and ensuring that stakeholders receive timely, data-driven updates.

To Access this new feature and to Schedule Publication, Users can Save an Insight and follow the below Steps:

Procedure

  1. Click on the ‘Share’ icon in the Taskbar.
  2. Select ‘Schedule Publication’

The Schedule Publication prompt will appear (as below), requiring you to enter some details.

  1. Enter all the required details like Event Name, Email Subject, etc.

You can also select File Type as Excel, CSV or PDF through the dropdown in the prompt.

  1. Scroll further down in the prompt, and you will be able to Add Users or Teams that would be the Recipients of the Publication.
  2. Press ‘Create’

You will get the notification below after the Schedule has been created successfully.

With these steps, the Publication is now successfully scheduled and will be executed as per the specified start date.
