Overview
Smart Insights in SAC stories use statistical analysis to provide text-based insights into your data. Previously, this feature was only available with Classic stories. With the release of the QRC Q2 2025 update, Smart Insights are now available in Optimized Design stories, including those utilizing Datasphere and Seamless Planning models.
Our story utilizes a datasphere model. The chart on page 1 shows Gross Sales per City. Select the chart and open the More Actions menu. From here, select Smart Insights (highlighted in the image).
Since we selected the chart, rather than a data point, Smart Insights has chosen the top result, Paris. The insight provides a comparison between March, April, and May 2023. If we want to see a similar result for another city, we can select that data point on the bar chart, then select Smart Insights again.
