Overview

Previously, when importing data from SAP S/4HANA into SAC Models, queries that contained Input Parameters could not be dynamically configured during import. With this update, you can:

  • Provide values for Input Parameters during the data import process.
  • Have more control over data selection, reducing the need for data cleansing post-import.
  • Experience performance improvements, as only relevant data is fetched from SAP S/4HANA instead of importing large datasets and filtering in SAC.

How This Works

  1. When setting up an import job in SAC for SAP S/4HANA queries, users will now see an option to enter values for input parameters.
  2. The parameters can be defined at runtime, allowing for dynamic filtering at the source level.
  3. Supports various parameter types, including:
    • Single values
    • Ranges
    • Multiple selections
