Overview

Hello SAP Users! If you have ever worked with different units of measurement in your SAP Analytics Cloud stories, you know that it can sometimes feel like juggling multiple conversions to get the numbers to match up. Well, good news! SAP has made it much easier with the new unit conversion feature in story calculations.

Now, when you are building out your stories or planning, you can add unit conversions directly into your calculated measures. This means you do not have to struggle with the different Units of Measure each time—they can be automatically converted for you based on the specific units you need.

Whether you are working with things like weight or any other unit, you will be able to use the converted values seamlessly within your story. It is all about saving you time and reducing the chances of errors when working with those tricky calculations.

And the best part? You can use those converted numbers in planning scenarios, too. So, if you are adjusting future plans or budgets, you can easily work with data that is already in the right unit, making everything flow much smoother.

In short, this new feature streamlines the entire process of handling different units in your stories and calculations—giving you more time to focus on what matters: telling your story and making smarter decisions.
